Revisted as a part of my “COVID Collection”, a series of fully digital illustrations, I wanted to explore my this technique with one of my favorite cars. I only saw this car, sister to the Le Mans winner, in photos when I was growing up, but it had a real resonance with me. I was amazed to see it in the flesh at Laguna Seca a few years ago. Akin to spotting a unicorn! The strong diagonal of the graphics, coupled with an aggressive dutched angle, makes for a nicely dynamic image.
